US ePharmacy NowRx Partners with Korean Hyundai Motor Group to Boost Its Rx Meds Delivery Business!
To improve the drug delivery sector, Korean Hyundai Motor Group partnered with NowRx, a US-based startup that delivers OTCs and Rx medications. For this collaboration, the automobile company launched the electric vehicle Ioniq 5 at the end of this year. This new partnership, according to Cary Breese, NowRx's Co-Founder and CEO, aims to drive massive cost reductions in shipping with self-driving cars as part of the ePharmacy's long-term strategic vision.

Russian ePharmacies Share Continues to Surge in Q1 2022 Reaching Unprecedented Rates!
The total volume of ePharmacy product sales in Russia in the first quarter of 2022 was 78.4 billion rubles incl. VAT, with 67.4 billion rubles emerging from its top 20 eRetailers. During that period, the online channel's share of total Russian pharmaceutical retail volume, including parapharmaceutical sales, continued to surge to 16.2%. Finally, during Jan-Mar’22 the largest companies accounted for 86% of the total volume of eCommerce transactions.

Online Sales of Pharmaceuticals in European Marketplaces Are on The Rise!
According to data presented during the Italian BrandOn Focus event, approximately 3.78B people purchased online in 2021 and marketplace sales increased. In terms of pharma sales, OTCs are estimated to account for a significant portion of total pharma sales, with over one-fourth of them emerging from the online channel in Europe. Furthermore, one-fourth of the market value in the personal care sector is generated online. Could online marketplaces be the future of the pharmaceutical industry?

BOOM: Shop Apotheke Was Finally Enabled to Advertise as “Germany’s Best Online Pharmacy”
In the summer of 2019, German Shop Apotheke ran tv commercials, in which it was presented as “Germany's Best Online Pharmacy”, according to a consumers' survey the ePharmacy had conducted. This sparked a lot of discussion about deceptive advertising, with the North Thine Chamber of Pharmacists suing the company. The Federal Court of Justice decided, a few weeks ago, that Shop Apotheke's ad was not misleading and that the company could continue to market as the country’s Best ePharmacy.
