Over 260 new medicines and special remedies for rare diseases are available in its store both online and offline. Due to the current circumstances its delivery personnel wear special protective clothing, and the majority of the deliveries are performed by car.

Superdrug, situated in the UK, will launch a new marketplace in September, collaborating with hundreds of companies ranging from luxury to start-ups to sell their products through the online platform. The health and beauty store is actively recruiting companies with the goal of removing listing barriers for market innovators and promoting industry diversity, with a special emphasis on black-owned brands, female-owned brands, and gender-neutral beauty products. AllianceRx Walgreens Prime, a specialty home delivery prescription pharmacy owned by Walgreens, will be rebranding this summer. When it comes to home delivery, Walgreens is trying to extend its on-demand delivery services through a partnership with Shipt, an online marketplace that offers home delivery. The company will provide access to a wide variety of Shipt’s products, including same-day delivery in some areas.

Indian Trader’s Body CAIT vs Marketplace Selling Medication: The Fight Is On!
CAIT, India’s traders' body, petitioned the government to restrict eMarketplaces from selling medications, a day after eRetailer Flipkart announced the launch of its new app, Flipkart Health Plus. According to CAIT, no one should be authorized to import, produce, sell, or distribute medications without a legitimate license. Furthermore, the trade body advocated for a ban on marketplace middlemen to eliminate the harm caused on retail pharmacies from deep discounting and predatory pricing. We'll have to wait and see how this case unfolds.
