The UK General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) has revised its guidelines for registered ePharmacies, which provide pharmacy services remotely, in terms of delivery services, identity-checking of customers, prescription guidance, and revisions to prior guidance given by others, including the General Medical Council (GMC). The primary goal of this update is to protect patients and the general public when they shop for medications online. The GPhC might soon implement more new regulations to make the pharmaceutical industry a safer environment for customers.
