Billionaire Mark Cuban Has Just Launched a Brand-New Low-Cost ePharmacy in the US!
Mark Cuban, a billionaire investor, launched an ePharmacy that provides over 100 generic medications at low prices, by acquiring meds directly from pharmaceutical manufacturers. The Mark Cuban Cost Plus Pharmaceuticals Company (MCCPDC) does not accept insurance claims and demands consumers to pay for their medications out of pocket, as they are less expensive than most insurance plans' deductible and copay requirements. Additionally, by the end of 2022, the business strives to have completed the construction of a $11M pharmaceutical facility in Dallas.

German-Based Mayd Secured a $34M Booster-Shot for Quick Delivery of Medications
German on-demand medicine delivery platform, Mayd, has received a $34M Series A investment. Mayd's delivery pledge in the cities where it operates is that the order will be delivered to your door within 30min. The Series A funding will be now utilized to accelerate growth by expanding into two new European markets. Moreover, the company is said to be the only firm on the market to incorporate the fast delivery service into their system, which will be a highly competitive advantage after the rollout of ePrescriptions in Germany.

Why is the Egyptian Pharmacy Association Turning Against Amazon?
The Egyptian Pharmacists' Association filed a complaint to the Attorney General, Hamada El-Sawy, against Amazon for the online sale of medications. Since those medications are not subject to control and inspection by national authorities, they are viewed as a threat for Egyptians' health and violate the current legislation. Spanish ePharmacy Mifarma Fully-Integrates with the Atida Platform

What Plans Does The Russian-based Zdravcity Have for a New Competitively Digitized Model?
According to DataInsight, the Russian Zdravcity ePharmacy Marketplace has generated over $77M in sales in 2020. The company determined to establish a presence in the eCommerce industry, has already a wide portfolio of over 47 thousand products. The goal is to reach 150,000 consumers by the end of 2022. Furthermore, they are actively developing their own contact service and collaborating with Rigla, an express delivery supplier, in order to ensure fast delivery and to remain logistically competitive, as next-day or two-hour delivery is no longer feasible. Furthermore, the company is constructing an Rx medication backup infrastructure.
