Czech Start-up Kuc Kuc Launches ePharmacy App to Serve Millions Without Access to Pharmacy
Kuc Kuc, a new ePharmacy application, has been launched in the Czech Republic to serve the more than 2.8M people who currently live in cities without a physical pharmacy. The app, which aims to offer convenience, has already partnered with 79 pharmacies across the country, offering delivery of orders within 1Hr. The ePharmacy service will also make use of customers' profiles and family medical history to offer a more personalized experience.

CEO of Tata 1Mg Discusses the Future of Tata 1MG in Today’s Challenging ePharmacy Ecosystem
Tata 1Mg's CEO, Prashant Tandon, said the company is poised for rapid growth as the Indian digital healthcare sector takes off. The firm is implementing deep care plans for specific diseases and focusing on elderly care and women's health. Tandon said the company expects to be profitable in around 2-2.5 years. However, the firm is currently in wait-and-watch mode as the government considers a permit system or ban for ePharmacies, a move Tandon declined to comment on.

Kapruka Brings the ePharmacy to Your Doorstep: Sri Lankan Citizens Can Now Have Rx Meds Delivered
Kapruka has launched a prescription medicine delivery service on its ePharmacy platform in Sri Lanka. Customers can complete transactions via desktop or mobile device, upload prescriptions or images of specific products, and pay for their order. Founder and Chairman of the company, Dulith Herath, noted the service allows Sri Lankan expatriates to have meds delivered to any address in the country, while also benefiting senior citizens by delivering meds to their homes. Herath said the aim was to offer customers access to high-quality products at a reasonable price.

Healthport and Kwangdong Pharmaceutical Partner to Accelerate the Digital Transformation of Korean Pharmacies
Healthport, a Korean mobile pharmacy app, has recently partnered with Kwangdong Pharmaceutical to accelerate the digital transformation of pharmacies. The upgraded version of the ePharmacy app significantly improves user convenience and focuses on mobile accessibility to communicate with regular customers, making the experience more convenient. Healthport plans to promote the app through Kwangdong Pharmaceutical's offline sales organization and secure affiliated pharmacies and users. The goal is to expand the scale of 3K pharmacies and 70K users within this year.

BOOM: ePharmacies Gain Momentum with Over 13.6 Billion Online Visits Across 89 Countries in 2022
According to Convert Group’s latest study, 47 out of the 89 countries with ePharmacies sell Rx meds online. The report also reveals an 8.1% year-over-year growth rate in online visits, with more than 13.6B visits recorded across the globe in fiscal year 2022. With a +98% Y-o-Y increase, Sub-Saharan Africa had the most online visits, and Vietnam-based ePharmacy Nhathuoclongchau was the fastest-growing ePharmacy in the world, with a visit growth rate of +298%!
