UK’s Boots Online Medicine Orders Skyrocketed During This Year’s Black Friday
UK-based Boots experienced its busiest Black Friday ever as its online sales increased 18% from the record levels of the previous year. The pharmacy chain noted that customers placed three orders on boots.com per second. The firm’s warehouse shipped out more products on Black Friday than any other day this year thanks to booming online sales. The company's in-store sales also increased 17% year over year. To assist its warehouse with click-and-collect orders, 90 locations in the UK now fulfill online orders.

Additionally, Germany has one of the higher percentages (38%) of respondents among the chosen nations who said they get their medications from an ePharmacy.

The rise of 21.1% in eCommerce, according to Cielo's Superintendent of Data and Innovation, Vitor Levi, demonstrated that despite the pandemic, online is a trend that is here to stay. Additionally, the pharmaceutical sector was the sector with the highest increase in sales in this year’s Black Friday with +25.9% growth compared to the previous year.

Indian-based ePharmacy Tata 1mg Has Just Launched Drone Delivery in Dehradun City
Indian ePharmacy Tata 1mg has introduced drone delivery in Dehradun to provide faster delivery of diagnostic samples and meds. The new service will speed up delivery by avoiding delays caused by road traffic and offer easier access to medical aid in rural areas. Tata 1mg has teamed up with Indian TSAW Drones for this initiative. The firm has also made plans to deliver medications to faraway parts of the city. According to reports, a single drone used for these services may transport 150 samples at once.
