Who Is The New CEO of UK-based ePharmacy Pharmacy2U?
UK-based ePharmacy Pharmacy2U names Kevin Heath as the new CEO in place of Mark Livingstone, who has resigned from its position. Kevin Health formerly worked for Walgreens Boots Alliance, where he served as an executive board director and commercial trading director. As the ePharmacy has been rapidly expanding, with a profit before tax of £100K in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2021, we can only speculate on the impact this role adjustment will have on the company.

Belgian ePharmacy Pharmasimple Has Received €200M in Funding to Expand its Business
The pandemic and subsequent confinements accelerated Belgian ePharmacy Pharmasimple's online sales. To support future acquisitions, openings, and recruiting, the firm was funded a total of €200M from Alpha Blue Ocean. Over the next years, the ePharmacy aims to operate 200 physical pharmacies and enhance its omnichannel experience. The US Food and Drug Administration is advising consumers to be cautious when purchasing Rx meds online. While some pharmacy websites operate legitimately and can provide convenience, privacy, and reduced prices, others may be selling unapproved, counterfeit, and hazardous pharmaceuticals at "deeply discounted" prices without requiring a prescription. Despite these issues, it is still feasible to discover a legitimate ePharmacy. An ePharmacy’s license can be authenticated using the FDA BeSafeRx website's location tool.

Ghana Is Set on Track to Become Africa’s Most Digitalized Healthcare Country
Ghana is on the verge of becoming one of Africa's most digitalized healthcare systems. According to Vice President Dr Bawumia, this is possible due to various digital interventions, like the National Electronic Pharmacy Platform (NEPP), which allows clients to online order their Rx meds and receive them directly to their homes, platforms to manage eMedical records, and drone delivery of medications. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health is setting the scene to introduce telemedicine services, allowing Ghanaians to obtain medical advice through their phones.
