Indian PharmEasy Makes its 3rd Major Acquisition for 2021
PharmEasy, the ePharmacy Data's fastest growing ePharmacy working towards an IPO, has acquired 67% of hospital supply chain management start-up Aknamed. Additionally, this year, PharmEasy will merge with its competitor, Medlife. Regarding this new partnership, Dhaval Shah, PharmEasy’s Co-Founder, wrote on LinkedIn, “This will make us the largest healthcare delivery platform across the country by a distance […].”

New Advertising Requirements Just Dropped for Rx Medications in Latvia
Experts believe that the amount of ePharmacy purchases would have multiplied if buyers realized that Rx medications could be delivered to them. However, Latvian law only allows specialists to online advertise Rx medications. Moreover, the holder of the registration of a medication needs to conduct an agreement with three parties before the advertisement is officially launched. Additionally, the type of the information presented must be taken into account when developing advertising content for specialists. Imagine the boom on the Latvian ePharmacy landscape if ePharmacies will be allowed to advertise the sale of prescription medicine.
