Shop Apotheke launched its own marketplace , allowing the company to meet increasing consumer needs and become Europe's leading ePharmacy. Initially, the Shop Apotheke Marketplace will feature 20,000 new products from over 30 carefully chosen providers. This will allow the organization to continue to increase its product range, number of partners, and introduce new categories while keeping the same high quality and service standards.

What New Platform Helps Brazilian Physical Pharmacies Go Online?
A new platform, named farmaciasdelivery.com.br, provides pharmacies with the benefit of being online and having a higher opportunity to sell to end users. This tool was developed by MyPharma, a startup specializing in eCommerce in the pharmaceutical industry and provides pharmacists with the ability to be online, seen by the public, and offer their products in a practical manner. Furthermore, with home delivery, consumers have easy and quick access to their meds. Will this initiative increase competition among Brazilian ePharmacies?

How Does a Monthly Fee Sound For Medications Delivered From ePharmacies in Chile?
Easyfarma, a Chilean ePharmacy, introduces a subscription-based approach that can help reduce the cost of medicines. Consumers who pay a monthly fee will receive tremendous discounts on their medication needs. The platform sells both OTCs and Rx medications, online for the same price as they were purchased from suppliers. Medicines are up to 90% cheaper than in huge pharmacy chains thanks to this initiative. We'll have to wait and see how this project works out in the near future.

German ePharmacy DocMorris Lost a Battle Against Fixed Pricing in Rx, But There Are Many Battles Still to Fight For!
The Dutch ePharmacy DocMorris tested in court against the German fixed price for Rx meds law. DocMorris used to give its consumers credits for redeeming their Rx meds and wants to keep advertising this service. Unfortunately, the Berlin-based court rejected the ePharmacy’s request. On the other hand, the fixed prices for foreign senders have been found anti-competitive by Brussels judges, enabling ePharmacies from other EU countries to provide discounts on Rx drugs, while German pharmacies remain bound to fixed prices.
