Amazon Pharmacy Introduces $5-a-Month Unlimited Prescription Plan to its Pharmacy Business
Amazon is strengthening its healthcare efforts by offering a $5 monthly unlimited delivery pass on 60 popular generic Rx meds used to treat allergies, inflammation and other conditions. Customers are anticipated to save money on low-cost generic meds, as pricing for brand-name prescriptions will remain the same. RXPass is Amazon's newest attempt to increase consumer healthcare expenditure. The $5-per-month delivery pass is an add-on to Amazon Prime, and is only offered to Prime users, regardless of insurance status.

The Italian ePharmacy Market Reached a Turnover of €678M during 2022
The Italian ePharmacy market totaled a turnover of €678M in 2022. This is the conclusion of the study, which IQVIA updated to the 52nd week of the year, from December 26th to January 1st. In a year, online sales totaled 66.6M packages, resulting in a €678.5M profit. The basket of supplements remains the driving category of the digital market, with a turnover of close to €332M in 2022; personal care comes in second with over €211M, followed by sop-otc pharmaceuticals (nearly €74M).

Farmasiet had a turnover of more than €46M last year. Farmasiet chose to take the next step in expansion by implementing an automated system that would enable quicker processing of the rising volume of orders while also ensuring compliance with strict security requirements.

Greek ePharmacies Increased their Sales Value by 13% in 2022
According to Convert Group's annual report, online sales by Greek ePharmacies increased by 13% in 2022 compared to the previous year, totalling €271M. In 2022, ePharmacies provided an average 41% discount. In 2022, hygiene products saw the greatest rise in online sales (27%), followed by infant and children's items (22%), food supplements and vitamins (10%), and beauty/personal care products (9%).
