During the pandemic, the Belgian ePharmacy Newpharma saw its turnover rise and its employees expand from 200 to 300. Newpharma has been unable to meet its staff requirements in the last months, hence the company has devised an automated project to handle these staff shortages. For the time being, this is a trial venture with roughly 20 robots, but it is projected to evolve. This is not a job-cutting initiative, but rather a means of sustaining Newpharma's growth and improving working conditions for all employees.

Nigeria’s Pharmacists Council Strives to Tackle Counterfeit Meds with New Legislation in ePharmacies!
With the rate ePharmacies are blooming in Nigeria, new requirements for ePharmacies have been established by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) to regulate counterfeit meds. From now on, it will be illegal to operate an unregistered to the PCN ePharmacy. Additionally, a reporting session has been added on the PCN website where Nigerians may report counterfeit meds, fraud, and so on. To ensure the wellbeing of Nigerians, each licensed ePharmacy will have a signature as a distinguishing factor of its legitimacy.
