Indian ePharmacy Tata 1mg Plans to Serve over 100 Cities Soon
Tata 1mg, an Indian ePharmacy, plans to extend its digital footprint nationally and become profitable over the next 2 years. On the pharmacy side, increasing gross margins comes with scale. Because it is the biggest digital healthcare platform in terms of traffic, with 40 million monthly users, the firm has massive advertising potential. Additionally, the firm strives to soon serve more than 100 cities, according to its CEO, Prashant Tandon.

Amazon is Now Bidding to Acquire Home Health Services Provider Signify Health, vs CVS and UnitedHealth Group
Signify Health, a supplier of home health care is the subject of separate bids from Amazon, UnitedHealth Group, and CVS Health. Final biddings are anticipated by Sept. 6 and will be discussed on Monday at a board meeting held by Signify. Home health service provider Option Care Health is also a bidder. Customers of Signify, a company that does at-home health examinations, include health insurers, public and private companies, hospital owners, and physician organizations. Shop Apotheke Acquires First-A and Enters Q-Commerce in Germany!
German ePharmacy Shop Apotheke has joined the Q-Commerce market with the acquisition of First A, an expedited delivery service. Pharmacy-only medications and drugstore goods are now offered in several cities and delivered to the front door within 30 minutes, thanks to alliances with stationary pharmacies. Additionally, German ePharmacy DocMorris can cover 50% of the delivery zones thanks to its network of 200–250 partner pharmacies.

How is US-based CVS Health Actively Competing Against Amazon?
Before Amazon bidding for One Medical in July, CVS Health pursued a partnership with them. Since then, as we previously mentioned, the business has been trying to acquire the $4.7B home health provider Signify Health. With more than 900 data scientists striving to reduce waste, CVS Health intends to continue competing with Amazon. The business has also strengthened its position in the telehealth and digital health markets by collaborating with Amwell, a provider of telemedicine services.
