With the integration of third-party sellers, the eMarketplace allows the retailer to test out new products and services that can resonate with customers. By partnering with new vendors, Superdrug can extend its range of products and compete better with ePharmacy behemoths, including Amazon and Boots.

The Canadian International Pharmacy Association Urges Ban on Online Sales of Opioids to Protect Patients
The Canadian International Pharmacy Association (CIPA) has called for an immediate ban on the online sale of opioids due to their dangerous and addictive nature although CIPA members have been selling medications online with a 100% safety record. CIPA supports safe and effective online sales of Rx meds with proper safety and privacy protocols and procedures. They also educate the public on safe ePharmacy practices and report rogue pharmacies to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

Olaf Heinrich to Become The New CEO of Shop Apotheke Europe in August 2023
Olaf Heinrich, former chairman of the board of the ePharmacy DocMorris, will become the new CEO of the leading European ePharmacy Shop Apotheke from August 1, 2023. Heinrich, who worked for DocMorris from 2008 to 2020, has extensive experience in the European ePharmacy industry, and is expected to lead Shop Apotheke into the next growth phase. However, his appointment is still subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting on April 26th. Until then, Heinrich will serve as a consultant to the company.
