In the UK, Boots is the first community pharmacy to employ a drone to deliver Rx medications. The delivery was a test run using technology from the medical drone company Apian to determine how much time this could save and how Boots could integrate drones into its medication supply chain to produce economic savings as well. The most recent report by Convert Group indicates that Greek ePharmacies saw a 9% growth in sales value from S1 ’22 to S1 ‘22. According to an estimate by Convert Group using data from the eRetail Audit sample, the total value of online purchases made at ePharmacies surpassed €134M. Health products (+64%) saw the largest increase in value across all online purchase categories between S1 ‘22 and S1 ‘22, followed by baby and children's items (+40%) and nutritional supplements and vitamins (+13%).
